This half term Year 4L have been having a lot of fun learning about electricity during their science lessons. We made simple circuits and we used objects from around the classroom to check which materials are insulators and conductors. We even made our own switches! We looked at renewable sources of energy by playing with solar and wind powered toys. We made a cell using fruits and vegetables and we were also very lucky to have one of our mothers, who is an engineer working for an electrical company, come in and tell us how they make electricity.
