To enhance our math knowledge at school, Phase 3 pupils
are encouraged to practice their times tables both in school and at home using the Times Table Rock Stars app. This exciting and engaging program is designed to help students master their times tables!
To become a Rock Star, students must answer any multiplication fact up to 12×12 in less than 3 seconds. Each child will receive a Rock Speed and Status based on their speed and accuracy in answering questions. The goal is for all participants to achieve Times Table Rock Star status within 20 weeks!
At the British International School of Tenerife, classes from the same year group compete against each other on Fridays. We then announce the points each class has achieved for that week and choose a winner during our Phase 3 Assembly.
