Just before Christmas, the Secondary Pupils from the International British School of Tenerife are invited to a special celebration event held at an off-site ballroom. During this event, certificates are awarded for their GCSE and A-level results, along with four special awards recognizing either exceptional effort or high academic achievement.

These four prestigious awards are named in honor of the founders of the Trinity School and the International Yeoward School, which merged in 2010 to become the British School of Tenerife.

The awards are:

Simmonds Award and Connolly Award: Named after the founders of the Trinity School.

Bernard and Richard Yeoward Award: Named after the founders of the British Yeoward School.

Linklater Award: Named after Linklater, a well-known and dedicated English teacher at Yeoward.

This event not only celebrates the academic successes of our students but also honors the legacy of those who have significantly contributed to our school’s history.
