This week the Reception Penguin Class have been looking at our well being. We have spoken about respect for others, doing kind deeds and read stories about our emotions. We practiced relaxation and breathing techniques through yoga, the ancient science which is focused on bringing harmony between the body and mind. We used colourful ribbons to dance and improvise with movements that make us feel free and happy. Our kindness jar is full, thanks to all the children performing acts of kindness. After every kind deed, the children put a pompom into the kindness jar to celebrate their thoughtfulness. The penguins have enjoyed our week of well being and kindness.
