At the British School of Tenerife we care about new technology and its impact on education. This is why we have chosen to use iPads as our main study tool.
The iPads are managed by our IT department, and we take care of installing any application that students need for teaching, ensuring the iPads’ proper use. and protecting students from online threats.
Students start using iPads since Year 1 and they are required for education. You will be able to purchase them through our vendor on their website by following the guidance they provide. Once purchased, our supplier will ship the iPad to the school, where it will be configured by our IT department, and then delivered to you.
At the British School of Tenerife we also introduce our students from a very early age to the digital world. In addition to the aforementioned iPads, we have computer classes, where each student will use an assigned computer when necessary. In the same way, all our classes have computers and AppleTVs, which help our teaching to be digitized. Our teachers also have iPads which they can use to share content with their students, as well as use them as a teaching tool.
